Talking Book Resource Materials

We have included the materials below to help you in creating your own talking books.  Many of these materials were created for use with pre-service teachers at the University of New Mexico.  We welcome contributions of materials for use with other grade levels or audiences! 

• Instructions for Creating Talking Books Using PowerPoint XP by Susan Bowdoin (updated in June, 2007)

• ACE Centre Publication:  How to Create Talking Books in PowerPoint 97 and 2000 by Richard Walter

• PowerPoint XP Viewer for those who do not have the most recent versions of PowerPoint. (Many of the special animations that are available with PowerPoint XP will not display correctly in earlier versions of PowerPoint.
